Sing in the New Year with The xx and London Grammar

British trios London Grammar and The xx both kick off 2017 with new songs.

"Rooting For You" // London Grammar

It's been over three years since London Grammar released their debut album If You Wait in 2013. The group has broken their silence with the long-awaited track "Rooting For You."  The soft and slow tune showcases lead singer Hannah Reid's soaring and stunning vocal range.  In addition to a studio version, the group has also released an even more staggering live version featuring Reid singing a cappella, leading into her backed by a string section. Listen to both versions below and keep your eyes out for more from London Grammar in 2017.

"Say Something Loving" // The xx

After their last studio album Coexist in 2012, The xx remained quiet until they released the single "On Hold" in November.  The xx's newest album I See You comes out at the end of next week, but the band have released the upbeat "Say Something Loving" in advance of the January 13th release.  The new track picks up the pace from the first track "On Hold,"  making it the perfect mood-boosting song to cure any January blues.  Listen to the song below and pre-order I See You here.
