Pond returned to the Metro stage on Thursday, August 27th, marking the band’s return to the Windy City and their return to that very stage at Metro. The band last performed at the legendary venue in December 2022, and the fans eagerly welcomed them back. Their set last week may have featured some new music from their latest album Terrestrials, but the camaraderie and human connection that Pond always cultivates during their performances remained consistent. Frontman Nick Allbrook was also up to his usual antics of flipping across the stage, dancing, and singing from the crowd—at one point he even crowd surfed.
